 Pushing Beach Dreams Into Reality

Yet I never threw away the boxing gloves. And they were only brought back to life, as it were, because my good friend decided to buy a punching bag and wanted me to take custody of it in my house. Now it wasn’t a coincidence that he chose me to take care of it since everybody knew I was an aggressive but martial arts geek back in the day. But just putting on the gloves after 7 plus years made me realize I hadn’t fully let it or, some psycho-analyst would say, my anger go. Despite my ability or inability to push my former fanaticism aside, wearing those gloves led me to think what I’m still holding onto to push the martial arts back into my life.

There’s been so much buzz around the law of attraction or The Secret these days, and if you know about them they basically state that you are what you attract. And since I know of virtually everyone that has at one time or another dreamed to live beachside or chill out on some Caribbean hammock soaking in the ocean breeze, I wonder why we don’t get enough of that? Perhaps it really is just a florida traffic school a luxury set so far away that we can only afford that as a vacation getaway from the drudgeries of work, twice or a few times in our lives. But if the law of attraction holds true, maybe we’ve got our thinking in reverse.

Since many of us still see those beachfront properties and ocean-side views like they’re some kind of far, far away fairytale land we need to trek to, maybe therein lays the problem. We dream of it as a thing that happens once or twice in our lives florida traffic school the hard and arduous work that we go through at our offices is what it takes to build up those vacation (and maybe even some sick) days to get there. In essence, we think of it as a looooong pursuit, so in reality it takes just as looooong of time to achieve that dream.

In my mind, however, if I’m thinking that I can lie comfortably on a nice summer’s beach and hold onto that imagination vividly enough like I’ve held onto my boxing gloves, I wonder if I really can push that belief into a very plausible reality. By the way, it’s not a bad thing that the martial arts are back in my life. I perceive it no longer as a means florida traffic school my emotions but a way to build benefits to my physical health. As such with Coastal Vacations, I think I’ve joined the right organization to help make my beach dreams closer to reality. And perhaps soon enough, I’ll be punching and packing in sand to build sand castles rather than just beating up the sand-filled bag hanging in my yard.
